sf-slack<pepermont> Hello, I want to ask something about names that confuses me. A PIP stands for programmable interconnect point, thus in vivado I expect them to be the small circular things. If that is the case what is a PIP junction? And also does the expression "activate a PIP" make sense ? It seems to me not since what you activate is actually the connection between 2 PIPS (if my first statement is correct). Alternatively, when we13:13
sf-slacksay PIP we mean exactly a pair of points, but if that is the case how would I call the points?13:13
sf-slack<pepermont> 13:14
sf-slack<acomodi> So, a PIP, in the image you posted, is the line connecting two PIP junctions together. This means that a PIP is really a pair of (source, sink) points13:40
sf-slack<pepermont> great, so the name itself is a bit deceiving. Thanks @acomodi :)13:40
sf-slack<fahrenkrog> Hi all, I have two questions (for now!) about the .v to bitstream generation process... I've been looking at the Symbiflow examples and so far the simpler ones make sense. Where do I find the resource utilization of an FPGA after the place & route process is completed? Is there a way to see an RTL or schematic of the synthesized .v code graphically, generated by Yosys or any of the other tools? Cheers14:19
