elli222Hi, im having trouble compiling on linux, it seems to fail here: /home/elliot/Projects/games/freeorion/FreeOrion/network/ServerNetworking.cpp:310: error: id was not declared in this scope, this also happens again on line 315 of ServerNertowking.cpp. There are lots of warnings, but they are all boost deprecation messages.18:18
elli222full output here: http://pastebin.com/m7d282d4618:19
tpbTitle: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool (at pastebin.com)18:20
elli222i should also probably mention that i was using cmake...18:20

elli222am i the only one getting this error? i've searched to forums to no avail....18:37
STalKer-Yhmm18:38
STalKer-Ycurrent svn?18:38
elli222yep18:38
STalKer-Ymaybe linux compile is broken ;D18:38
elli222it certainly seems so18:39
STalKer-Yjust make a new thread on the forums specifying your errors18:39
elli222ugh, no thanks, i don't want to make yet another forum account.18:41
STalKer-Ywhat happened to the other one? :p18:43
STalKer-Yoh, now i get it ;)18:43
elli222do you? i was reffering to the fact that i no longer know how many forums i have joined xD18:44
STalKer-Ythen you have to wait for a dev to show up ;D18:48
elli222*sigh* o how i wish building software could be simple. (there is always ONE snag i happen to find. Compiling GiGi.... ERROR undefined ref's to IL blah blah blah...)18:51
elli222i find it ironic that some error checking code is causing the build to fail...18:55

GeofftheMediovery strange that I don't get errors for this...20:37
GeofftheMedioor rather, didn't, as now it seems to be complaining about the same problems.20:39
CIA-72FreeOrion: geoffthemedio * r3322 /trunk/FreeOrion/network/ServerNetworking.cpp: Fixed ServerNetworking.cpp compile errors that some I missed earlier... (???)20:42

elli222hmm, why am i getting this: main() caught exception(std::exception): OGRE EXCEPTION(7:InternalErrorException): Could not load dynamic library ./RenderSystem_GL.  System Error: ./RenderSystem_GL.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in DynLib::load at OgreDynLib.cpp (line 81), and why is it looking in ./ and not /usr/lib/OGRE/ ?22:01
GeofftheMedioyou probably need to edit ogre_plugins.cfg22:26
GeofftheMedioto change PluginFolder=. to wherever you want the plugins to be loaded from22:27
GeofftheMedioor see this on the compile wiki: http://freeorion.org/index.php/Compile_In_Linux#Ogre3D_configuration22:29
