cr1901_modernmithro: I'm setting up an ARM old dev board (Beagleboard XM) I have with HDMI/Linux. I can debug minispartan problems that way without Windows bitching15:27
sb0if that's device is anything like the raspberry pi, you'll also have a lot of video driver hassle15:46

cr1901_modernsb0: Beagleboard XM I THINK is open besides the schematic. But don't quote me on that16:08
*** rohitksingh has quit IRC16:09
cr1901_modernsb0: Although... I think you're onto something; board claims there's an LCD attached (there isn't), and the HDMI pixel clock frequency is 6.8MHz when it should be ~25MHz16:10

sb0does this even work? I tried playing with non-standard HDMI pixel clock frequencies with the mixxeo, and monitors did not like that16:21

cr1901_modernsb0: The frequency counter, to the best of my knowledge works (I tested it using a 240MHz input signal, so 25MHz should be nothing). But I haven't had much luck with actually fooling a host into thinking a real HDMI monitor is attached16:43

cr1901_modernmithro: New kernel image... HDMI input signal consistently crashes the SoC20:50

cr1901_modernmithro: Good news... if I wait to attach the minispartan until AFTER boot is done, HDMI2USB's EDID is detected successfully (then X segfaults). So therefore I suspect the problem with my laptop to be NVIDIA or Windows; could be either at this point, tbh.22:52
