xfxfCarlFK[m]: you around?00:31
CarlFK[m]Walking out the door, back online in 30 minutes00:32
xfxfright.  have some concerning issues with some of the video vocto saved out00:32
xfxfor, rather, the mpeg2 save script00:32
xfxfping me when you're back around00:32
xfxf(i think there's a corrupt frame, mlt/ffmpeg blow up trying to deal with it. i think recoverable because the raw files play OK directly)00:33

CarlFKxfxf: I see what you mean about the freeze01:59
xfxfI'm not near the source files but I can show you the errors from mlt later04:02
xfxfit's happened on at least two videos I just recorded, so something is wrong04:02
xfxftumbleweed: did any of the encoder settings for the vocto disk save script change between LCA and debconf?04:03
xfxf(i guess i could check git...)04:03
xfxfCarlFK: where does voctomix-record-timestamp come from? voctomix-outcasts?04:09
xfxfI can see reference to it in the debian ansible, I can't see where it comes from...04:10
CarlFKxfxf: https://github.com/CarlFK/voctomix-outcasts/blob/master/record-timestamp.sh06:08
tpbTitle: voctomix-outcasts/record-timestamp.sh at master · CarlFK/voctomix-outcasts · GitHub (at github.com)06:08
CarlFKwe use ffmpeg because      gst doesn't have:          -f segment -segment_time $segment_time   -strftime 1 "$dest_dir/%Y-%m-%d/%H_%M_%S.ts"06:09
CarlFKsplit files every 30 min06:09
CarlFKat least gst didn't have it 2 years ago.  I know it was in some branch or something.06:10
CarlFKI would track that down and see what it takes to use gst instead of ffmpeg06:18

tumbleweedxfxf: not to my knowledge11:17
xfxffalse alarm - the recording was fine, youtube did something fkn wierd11:34
xfxfreuploaded the same video, it's fine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBhcmqq0HSY11:34
xfxfi *did* actually have the issue I describe with another video (the closing) but that specific one I blame being impatient and blasting off a rsync at full speed before AV was gonna cut the power on me after the gig11:35
xfxfand it was only one corrupt frame - so I just fixed it by skipping that part in veyepar (the one corrupt frame seemed to completely KO the encoding for the rest of the same ts file)11:35
xfxfalso, CarlFK[m], someone else noticed the 25->30fps issue i had in the bug tracker :P  see comment at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qubPzBcYCTw14:05
xfxfdid you end up figuring out where that was?  (i'm guessing veyepar is encoding everything to 30fps)14:06
CarlFKxfxf: yeah - ansible now does dv_format=hdv_720_{{ voctomix.framerate }}p14:28
