fixItt | Could anyone clue me into which signal I need to connect to for when the System selected in changed? I have tried connecting my signal to other systemselected signals with no luck. Should I be looking at the SystemLeftClickedSignal? I have been making no progress with this for a good while now so any tips/pointers would be awesome | 23:52 |
fixItt | also a lot of the signals from what I understand seem to only be emitted if the system is changed in a specific window so is there a more general signal out there that I am missing? | 23:53 |
GeofftheMedio | there should be no signal emitted if a signal is changed from a specific window | 23:55 |
GeofftheMedio | there are signals that are emitted when a window is modified by the user | 23:56 |
GeofftheMedio | which are then used to issue orders | 23:56 |
GeofftheMedio | if a "system", not "signal" | 23:56 |
GeofftheMedio | when a window modified signal fires, that may cause an order to be issued | 23:56 |
GeofftheMedio | which would possibly modify an object | 23:57 |
GeofftheMedio | this likely wouldn't be a system, though, as there aren't any orders that directly modify systems | 23:57 |
