pinoaffeHi everyone, I'm trying to build nextpnr but am running into an issue where it says make[2]: *** No rule to make target '/usr/local/share/icebox/chipdb-384.txt', needed by '/tmp/guix-build-nextpnr-ice40-0.0.0-0.c192ba2.drv-0/source/ice40/chipdbs/chipdb-384.bba'.  Stop.15:32
daveshahYou probably need to pass -DICEBOX_ROOT= to the nextpnr cmake with the path you have installed icestorm too15:33
daveshahit defaults to /usr/local/share/icebox15:33
pinoaffedaveshah: ah, that sounds reasonable, i'll give that a try15:34

Yatekiixobs: do we have hardware pickup at the workshop or before?15:37
xobsYatekii: either. You can come by and pick it up now if you like. Just show that you've got the toolchain installed.15:38
Yatekiixobs: I do have it installed ofc :)15:39
Yatekiixobs: where are you folks at?15:39

CarlFKthe red USB block - seems at odds with "Fomu implements its USB in a softcore."17:54
CarlFKis the red block just the 4 usb connector fingers and maybe  buffery components ?17:54
tntThe red block is the connector ...17:55
tntand maybe 2 * 33R resistors.17:55
tntAlso, btw, it's not PSRAM (Pseudo Static RAM) it's SPRAM (Single Port RAM)17:56

mifunexobs: ive encountered a weird bug where my entire laptop locks up when using circuit python. The difficulty is that im not able to reproduce it, though it is during heavy load and in one ocasion had my mouse and keyboard were doing weird stuff.20:31
mifuneis there a way to disable some of the usb periphals that appear when loading circuitpython?20:31
xobsmifune: not that I'm aware of.20:32
CarlFKmifune: were you doing any usb things, other than serial connection to python?20:59
CarlFKlike HID or mouse or storage....20:59
mifuneit was probably doing something with storage, most issues are when it is parsing the python script21:04
mifunewhat i'm guessing is that it is related to the issues i had earlier this day, where the 0.1.1 version was suffering from not having enough time to handle the usb while accesing the flash.21:05
*** alon has quit IRC21:27
xobsProbably. We really do need to improve flash speed...21:34

alonnote for fomu workshop people: reboot via wishbone-tool causes an endless loop - to workaround it you can use the following trivial script:22:28
alon❯ cat $(which fomu-reboot)#!/usr/bin/python3# writing to the reboot CSR results in an endless loop. until fixing wishbone-tool this# is a workaround to reboot without clicking Ctrl-Cfrom subprocess import Popen, PIPEp = Popen(['wishbone-tool', '0xe0006000', '0xac'], stderr=PIPE)for i in range(3):    l = p.stderr.readline()p.kill()22:28
