xobsfutarisIRCcloud: thanks for testing!00:15
xobsI modified Foboot so it no longer needs "dfu-util -e"00:15
xobsI guess now I should come up with an updater program.00:15

mifunexobs: works for me as well01:13
mifunehmm, after a while it locks up01:46
xobsmifune: Strange.  I wonder why?  What are you doing with it?02:10
xobsI'm not sure how to actually use it, so maybe there's a GC bug that you're hitting that I'm not sure how to find.02:11

futarisIRCcloudtermshark.io - Wireshark in a terminal. Works fine over ssh, on a remote system. On in termux on Android ...02:47
xobsfutarisIRCcloud: well that's cool. I can see so many uses for that.02:51
futarisIRCcloudShould run on Raspberry Pi too.02:51

mifunexobs: i'm connected to it using a serial terminal. it doesn't matter if i am using it or not, at some point it stops accepting input. Fomu keeps blinking, the serial connection stays alive and there is nothing new in dmesg06:35

xobsmifune: this is on Linux? let me see if I can reproduce the issue.  About how long?06:46
*** rohitksingh has quit IRC06:48
mifunexobs: xubuntu 18.04, it takes somewhere between 2 and 5 minutes06:54
mifuneit might be related to dfu download issues im having on the same system06:55
mifunewhich i don't have on ubuntu server 18.0406:55
xobsDo you have more than one Fomu you can test with?06:56
*** rohitksingh has joined #tomu06:59
mifuneI have to go to work, will do some more tests this evening.07:00
mifuneI have two, with the same foboot and micropython version.07:01
xobsAlright.  I'm curious whether it's a hardware or software problem.07:01

xobsSomething strange /is/ going on, I'm not sure what.09:44
xobsWhen I load micropython over dfu, it doesn't work. But if I reboot, then it works. I wonder why... Maybe it has to do with not fully resetting the blocks.09:45
mifunei had the same behavior09:48
xobsmifune: replication is good.09:52
