chriss1 | Hiho. I'm trying to add a Fighters ship part - there seems to be some code related to that in ShipPartsParser.cpp and others, but I can't quite get it to work. Soon as I change the type of the part to Fighters I'm getting parse errors "Parse error. Expected real number expression here". Does anyone know in what state that code is? | 13:47 |

tomreyn | I wouldn't know, but this error message sounds like the type should be identified by a number - I assume you understood so much, though. | 13:53 |
tomreyn | please have some hours of patience if you're looking for a real abswer (or use the forums) | 13:55 |
chriss1 | yeah, in principle, that's what i figured. I just don't know what should be there. Is there any documentation on the text file syntax besides the files itself and the code? | 14:06 |
chriss1 | otherwise I'll try the forums. just thought i'd check here first | 14:06 |

chriss1 | thanks, but that does not describe the values for the different ship part types, it only says "depends on ship part type". But it parses now. I'm about to test if those ship parts actually do something ;) | 17:03 |
