BurnsyHello, is there anyone awake that might be able to help clarify something for a new user? I'm confused as to what "Starlane Speed" is, and how it differs from "Fuel". I'm guessing that "Starlane Speed" is a distance thing, so the more "Starlane Speed" the further each hope is for each "Fuel" unit, but I can't find any validation to my theory :-)10:53
Burnsy*each hop is for each "Fuel" unit...10:54
BurnsyAnd to top that off, which improves movement more, +1 in "Fuel" (Extra Fuel Tank) or +10 increase in "Starlane Speed" (Improved Engine Couplings)10:58
BurnsyI've looked all over the wiki and the in-game "pedia" and can't seem to find a concrete explanation as to what "Starlane Speed" is or does.11:00
BurnsyI started searching the forums, but I thought I'd stop by here before creating a new thread ;-)11:01

SectorStarlane speed is just that, how fast you get where you are going.  So if you have two ships moving from the same system, the faster one might get there in one turn, the slower might take a couple of turns to get there.  or they might both get there in 1 turn if the distance is shorter.16:14
