F4PGASlackBridge<iamxuyun> Hello guys! I'm an engineer working on Xilinx FPGA. And my focus right now is the US&US+ architecture. I want to contribute to F4PGA which can also benefit me. Is there any thing I can to? I know something about bitstream, for its FF, BRAM bit mapping. That's so far I've got.01:33

josuah@iamxuyun the GSoC is a program that enroll learners with an mentor for encouraging contribution to open source projects, such as F4PGA08:32
josuahF4PGA takse part into it: https://f4pga.org/summer-of-code08:32
tpbTitle: F4PGA (at f4pga.org)08:32
josuahEven without taking part to it through GSoC, it is a good opportunity to review what is needed for F4PGA08:33
josuahAlso, F4PGA is an umbrella project: it gathers efforts frome separate projects, and working with the bitstreams is often done around the YosysHQ toolchain08:35
josuahfor example, for the iCE40 devices, the F4PGA repo https://github.com/f4pga/icestorm is a fork kept in sync with the upstream project08:36
josuahif you are interested in a particular architecture, you may get in touch with one of the project/team working on it, and get started :)08:38
josuahif you are interested in adding an additional architecture, you would be the one to start that project/team, and it would be gladly received by F4PGA08:39
josuahif you are interested in other kind of work, like documentation, toolchains, debug tools, language-specific tools... tell us more and we would route you further08:41
josuahhave fun! feel free to ask anything here08:41

lambdaHi, did something in the build pipeline for the prebuilt f4pga-arch-defs files break? Unfortunately I can't look at https://storage.cloud.google.com/symbiflow-arch-defs-gha/ at all without a google account, but https://storage.googleapis.com/symbiflow-arch-defs-gha/symbiflow-toolchain-latest, which I've been using so far, points to a build from March.19:05

F4PGASlackBridge<kgugala> indeed it points to quite old package, let us check what happened19:21
F4PGASlackBridge<kgugala> the packages are uploaded to the bucket19:54
F4PGASlackBridge<kgugala> but the `latest` files are not updated19:54
F4PGASlackBridge<kgugala> i suppose this happened when we switched to custom github actions runners19:54
F4PGASlackBridge<kgugala> the latest build is here https://console.cloud.google.com/storage/browser/symbiflow-arch-defs/artifacts/prod/foss-[…]tab=objects?prefix=&forceOnObjectsSortingFiltering=false19:55
